Graduated Tchula High School in 1963, Delta State University in 1967 with BSE in Applied Piano and Vocal Music Education degree.Obtained elementary ed. certification later. Married George Shute in 1966. Have 2 girls, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Two of the grandchildren have lived with us since he was 3 and she was 2 weeks. n country from Tchula/Cruger; in Belzoni, Seven Pines out from Greenwood, Elliott (out from Grenada), in Coffeeville, and now out from Duck Hill. Taught Cruger-Tchula Academy, Humphreys Academy, Central Delta Academy, Belzoni Elementary School, Greenwood Public Schools and in Grenada Public Schools. Am still teaching with 2 years yet to go to vested state retirement.
